Horse Racing tips for Ascot, Lingfield and Taunton

NICKY HENDERSON is concerned about the health of his horses and has withdrawn three of his runners from today’s intended races.

“We have to keep an eye on these things and Valtor’s blood picture came back this morning and it wasn’t 100 per cent, so he’s a non-runner in the Peter Marsh Chase,” said the champion trainer.

Henderson had also hoped to run Angels Breath’s at Haydock but he now will miss the race. Henderson has back-up in Mister Fisher who now runs the Grade Two event.

But Henderson is not panicking about running his superstar Altior at Ascot today
