Horse racing tips for Kelso, Leicester and Newcastle

THE WHITE MOUSE (2.10, nap) can give Lucy Wadham her third winner from six runners in the last two weeks.

The five-year-old mare won on her hurdling debut in November at Lingfield, staying on strongly to beat the odds-on favourite Duhallow Gesture by a length.

That was good form and while she looks a staying type she can successfully make the step up in grade.

PINNATA (5.15, nb) is an improving sort who has enjoyed victories on the all-weather at both Chelmsford and more recently at Kempton last month.

That win was his best to date, beating Scofflaw by five lengths in impressive style over a mile. The runner-up confirmed the form by winning next time out earlier this month.

This is a furlong shorter, a step up in class and he carries 8lb more but Stuart Williams’ five-year-old is progressive and can beat off all comers in a competitive Newcastle affair.

On the same card ENCORE D'OR (5.45, treble) is top-rated and will be hard to beat in the five-furlong sprint.

The seven-year-old is an admirable campaigner who has won 10 races from 40 runs.

He has performed well in better class races than this, including when a two-length sixth to Mab’s Cross in the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket last May.
