Cheltenham Festival Tips - Our Favourite Acca

Cheltenham Festival favourite acca

The 2020 Cheltenham Festival is fast approaching and we think you’ll find this accumulator of favourites hard to resist.

Notebook (The Arkle) – best odds 11/4

Henry De Bromhead’s imposing seven-year-old has taken to chasing like a duck to water, and is unbeaten in four runs since switching to the larger obstacles. He will be many people’s idea of a banker on the opening day.

Benie Des Dieux (Mares Hurdle) – best odds 8/11

Since moving to Willie Mullins’ yard, Benie Des Dieux has not lost a race that she has completed, with an amazing eight out of nine wins. That one blip on her CV was her Annie Power-esque last hurdle fall when three lengths clear in this race last year. She’ll put that right this time around.

Envoi Allen (Ballymore) – best odds 6/4

A fascinating renewal, with a few unbeaten runs on the line, but our vote goes to the favourite Envoi Allen. Gordon Elliot’s charge cruised to victory in a Grade 1 at Naas in January after being stepped up in trip and he looks fine-tuned for a crack at this, with some course form also in his favour.

Appreciate It (Champion Bumper) – best odds 7/4

Willie Mullins holds all the aces in the closing race of day two and we’re backing the favourite to land the spoils. The 6-year-old has come on leaps and bounds since moving to the Mullins yard and, after a facile win in a Grade 2 at Leopardstown last month, he’ll take all the beating in this.

Paisley Park (Stayers Hurdle) – best odds 8/11

If we make it this far, there’s no better horse to be waiting on than Paisley Park. Emma Lavelle’s superstar just oozes class and stays for days, two key ingredients to win a race of this nature. He landed a course and distance win in January and Aidan Coleman will be looking to make it eight from eight on board in the feature race on day three.

You can currently back this accumulator at best odds 66/1, so don’t miss out and land yourself a Cheltenham fortune!
