Man City v Tottenham Preview, Predictions, Tips
Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur go head to head in the evening kick off Saturday aiming to make it 2 wins from their first 2 games. The game will be played at the Etihad and is a Sky Sports main event.
Last years title winners Man City couldn't have got off to a better start, with a 5-0 demolishing away at West Ham. Raheem Sterling continued his fine pre-season by scoring a hatrick, with Gabriel Jesus and substitute Sergio Aguero bagging the others.
Tottenham on the other hand took 75 minutes to break down a resilient Aston Villa side making their highly anticipated and overdue Premier League return. They went on to win the game 3-1 with Harry Kane scoring a brace and Ndombele scoring a rocket making his Premier League debut infront of a packed out crowd.
Manchester City started the game with Sergio Aguero and Bernado Silva on the bench giving fanatsy team managers headaches all over the country. This does demonstrate City's squad depth and Pep Guardiola's willingness to leave star players out. Rodri had a fine Premier League debut and shown us why Pep was so keen to bring the Spaniard in as Fernandinho's long term replacement. Pep labelled his sides 5-0 demolishing a 'sloppy victory' and criticised their first half performance.
Tottenham had a small selection crisis ahead of their opener however were still able to leave want away star Eriksson, on the bench. It took a while for Spurs to really get going and until the introduction of Eriksson it looked like Villa were going to leave with all 3 points as Tottenham struggled to find the killer pass for the breakthrough. Villa ought to have put the game to bed in the first half when they took 1 of 3 big chances. Spurs will be hoping to have settled the nerves and get off to a faster start here.

Manchester City Team News
We would expect both Bernado Silva and Sergio Aguero to start this game. Pep has a difficult choice to make when deciding if to stick with Rodri or bring Fernandinho back into the line up. After Rordi's performance against West Ham demonstrating his ability to break up play and retain possesion we expect him to feature from the start again.
The only noteable injury is to Leroy Sane who will miss the first 6 months of the season with a knee injury.
Our Predicted Starting 11; Ederson, Walker, Stones, Laporte, Zinchenko, Rodri, De Bruyne, David Silva, Bernardo Silva, Sterling, Aguero.
Tottenham Hotspur Team News
Tottenham still have a small injury crisis at the back and this game looks to have come too soon for them in their season. Vertonghen is still a major doubt as he is struggling to return to fitness. Foyth is struggling to recover from an ankle injury and remains suspended. Toby Alderweireld is available despite doubts over his future and looks certain to start the game.
Ben Davis remains a doubt following his groin surgery and faces a late fitness test and their late signing from Fulham Ryan Sessegnon is unavailable due to a hamstring injury.
Our Predicted Starting 11; Lloris, Walker-Peters, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Rose, Sissoko, Winks, Ndombele, Eriksen; Lucas Moura, Kane.

It's strange to say this in week 2 of the Premier League, but this game is huge. When you consider how close the Premier League race was last season, every game could play a part in the final outcome. We feel that this game has come too soon for Spurs as they have a huge injury list, many doubts and suspended players. Man City have an insane amount of squad depth and are likely to bring Sergio Aguero and Bernado into the team that demolished West Ham 5-0.
Tottenham got the better of City over the 2 legs in the Champions League however, City done the double over Spurs in the league. Pep will know that Liverpool have a huge task beating Southampton away after 120 minutes midweek. They'll have too much firepower over Spurs going forward and Sterling will be relishing playing against a young Walker-Peters.
Our Prediction; Man City 3-0 Tottenham - Get Man City to win the game at a HUGE 30/1 HERE!

Many are tipping both teams to score. We however struggle to see Spurs breaking City down with such little possesion anticipated. Both teams not to score is 21/20 with Bet365
Man City managed to score 5 away at West Ham, whilst Aston Villa had 3 huge chances against Spurs. We therefore think Over 2.5 Goals is 4/7 with Betway is pretty nailed on.
