Daily Horse Racing Tips! NAP, NB, Treble.

As predicted, yesterday was a tough day of races, with many high odds outsiders winning and placing! We go again today with some tips for Southwell, Hexham and Exeter!

Nap – First Excel – Southwell 3.20

Roy Bowring has a good strike-rate at his local track, Southwell, and he’s got a couple of runners on today’s card worth noting, most notably in the finale. First Excel (9/4) bids for his fourth course success after he was only narrowly denied last time out and he seemingly had excuses that day when setting an unsustainable pace. He may be 2lb ahead of his last winning mark but there’s little doubt he has a race such as this in him and this afternoon’s affair looks like an ideal opportunity to get his head back in front.

NB – Little Choosey – Southwell 12.50

Earlier on the card, Bowring saddles Little Choosey (12/1). The mare is yet to win at Southwell, but she’s shaped with plenty of promise on several of her starts at the course and she looks certain to appreciate the step back up to 1m here after her try at an inadequate six furlongs last time out. Furthermore, she gets the services of Robert Winston here, a jockey who has a 30% strike-rate when riding for the yard.
